Alex Bassett
Practice Director
Alex started nursing in Putney, London at the age of 17. She moved to Irchester in 1974 and joined The Johnston Veterinary Clinic in December 1989. Initially Alex went from nurse to practice administrator and was made practice manager in 2009. She is now the practice director but she is still a nurse at heart and luckily able to take home the occasional ‘hand rears’ including small birds that are brought in. Alex has a Jack Russell called Dolly and four cats, Freddie, Arthur, Jamie and Eric.

Georgia Davies
Receptionist
Georgia joined the practice in October 2017 as one of our receptionists. She will soon be a qualified veterinary physiotherapist, practicing under the governing body of the NAVP. As a veterinary physiotherapist Georgia assesses the musculoskeletal system to determine if there is any pain present and treats the affected area with massage, exercises and therapeutic machines. Away from work Georgia enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Callee and Theo.
